in health, education and participation in labor market and politics is also unsatisfactory.

the world average. In the financial sphere, according to World Bank Global
Index report 2017, only seven percent of the women in the country have
financial services account.

of speech.

In the social context of Pakistani society, women are considered to be meek, humble and modest.Culture of oppression exists in rural areas of Pakistan.Men believe that they are superior and usually marry twice or thrice. This is a culture that denies their social, political and legal rig
·
Feudal
and Tribal System in some areas of Pakistan are denying the equal position of
women in social scenario. In some of the areas
,customary act of Sawara is largely
prominent especially in Khyber Pakhtoon Khwa and Baluchistan,by the virtue of
which, instead of giving the blood money
as a “badl.e.Sulah” an accused family give their girl in marriage to an aggrieved family as “compensation” to settle down the blood feud between them.
Women's Position and Global Well Being
Women's right is an important indicator to understand global well-being.No society can function properly without women.A woman is an architect of society. She forms the institution of family life.In order to build a prosperous and healthy society both men and women demand equal rights.
Uplift of the Women's Rights
- State party has the responsibility to assure legal protection ans the law which leads to gender discrimination should be changed.
- Fundamental rights which are available to to all citizens should provided to women as well.
- Rules should be implemented against bad customs like honor killings popular among rural areas of Pakistan.
To sum up Woman's role in political, social, economic and cultural context is essential for the uplift of Pakistani society and this is possible without given them equal rights .
